Dr. Amit Nagarkar completed his Bachelor of Science in Fergusson College, Pune, India and Master of Science at the Department of Chemistry, University of Pune, India.

He then obtained a DAAD fellowship for PhD in the group of Prof. A. Kilbinger at Mainz University, Germany. The whole group moved to Switzerland and Amit completed his PhD in polymer chemistry from Fribourg University, Switzerland in 2015.

Subsequently, Amit worked as a development chemist at the Centre of Excellence at Huntsman Advanced Materials on polymers for aerospace/automotive composites for two years.

In 2017, Amit joined the Whitesides Lab at Harvard University as a SNF Postdoctoral fellow where he currently works.
